Who I am

I'm curious about almost everything.

I grew up in Bangladesh and now study in Queens. Moving between two places pushed me to adapt quickly, stay curious, and become more comfortable teaching myself new skills.

I started with graphics and video. Then I moved into cameras, color, VFX, Blender, websites, apps, games, social media, leadership, and community work. I do not want to stay inside one box.

10years growing in graphic design
08years creating and editing video
04years volunteering through English Track and community work
curiosity across creative technology

I started learning design and editing when I was young, then kept going through personal projects, school work, volunteering, internships, and real jobs.

Work, service, and responsibility

Where I learned by showing up.

I have worked and volunteered in very different settings. Each one taught me something I could not learn from a classroom alone.

Brandstart NYC

Creative Media & Digital Production

I worked across New York City, helping turn neighborhood businesses into stories people could watch and understand.

  • I researched neighborhoods, visited locations, and spoke with local business representatives before and during shoots.
  • I filmed with drones and professional cameras, edited videos, graded color, took photos, and made graphics for publishing.
  • I studied social media trends, helped plan and manage content, and supported web projects through AI-assisted coding.

  • I handled drone work, photography, cinematography, heavy video editing, color grading, posting, and content creation.
  • I spoke with and interviewed business owners, then helped turn those conversations into useful media and marketing content.
  • I worked on food drives and cleanup events and learned cooperation, workload management, and team coordination.

City Parks Foundation

Garden & Community Program Assistant

I spent a summer working in community gardens and learned that useful work does not always happen behind a screen.

  • I helped with harvesting, weeding, watering, cleaning, and keeping tools and garden spaces organized.
  • I learned about plant care, pollinators, birds, and the role local gardens play in a neighborhood.
  • I supported garden activities under supervision and practiced being dependable in a new environment.

Four years of continued involvement

English Track

Volunteer

I volunteered with English Track for four years. It became one of my longest commitments outside school.

  • I learned to keep showing up, communicate clearly, and work with different people over a long period of time.
  • The experience helped me become more responsible, patient, and comfortable taking initiative when something needed to be done.
  • It also gave me an early foundation in service, teamwork, and leadership.

Projects and self-directed work

Built by doing.

These projects show how I learn. I start with an idea, build something, test it, find what is wrong, and improve it. The process matters to me as much as the final result.

NYC Neighborhood Stories

I helped document neighborhood businesses across New York City. I researched each area, visited locations, filmed with drones and cameras, edited the footage, graded the color, designed graphics, and helped publish the final content.

Independent build

Chit-Shat Messaging App

I used AI-assisted coding to build a texting app with direct messages, community chats, profiles, reactions, typing indicators, read receipts, and mobile-focused interactions. I also worked through loading, duplicate-chat, and reliability problems.

2D Game Experiment

I developed a playable 2D game while learning basic programming logic, interaction design, visual choices, and testing. It taught me how quickly a simple idea becomes a chain of small problems to solve.

Websites & Digital Builds

I use HTML, CSS, light programming, and AI models to turn ideas into working digital experiences. I have built forms, content sites, mobile interfaces, rankings, and tools while learning how layout and code work together.

Content & Social Media Work

I study online trends, think about what an audience will care about, plan content, prepare visuals, schedule posts, and help manage publishing. I used those skills in both community and neighborhood-business work.

What I can do and how I learned it

Skills I actually use.

I make things people can feel.

Graphic design was where I started. Video editing came next, and then cameras, color, VFX, and 3D. I like taking a plain idea and slowly shaping it until it has a mood, a pace, and a reason to be remembered.

What I use: DaVinci Resolve · Photoshop · Blender · drones · professional cameras
I edit videos and build their pace.I shoot with drones and professional cameras.I make graphics and photo edits in Photoshop.I grade footage in DaVinci Resolve.I create VFX and composite different visual layers.I am moving from beginner into intermediate Blender and 3D work.I have also appeared on camera as a model.
